Point Image Visualization In Image Correction By Imange Histograph

Abstract

Image enhancement is a process that aims to improve the quality of image display . Operating point for image enhancement is done by operating the pixels, regardless of the concept of neighbors (neighborhood). Operating point is usually described in terms of the image histogram. Through the analysis of literature study , carried out the design of the program interface point operations that require the original color image as input, which is processed through the brightness adjustment operation , negation , gamma correction , contrast stretching , intensity slicing, bit extraction, range compression and histogram equalization . The program was developed with Borland Delphi. The results given by the program in the form of a grayscale image display and image of the operating point, equipped with the bits and histogram point selected operating results. The histogram is displayed by the program can be used as a visual indication to determine the appropriate gray scale in order to obtain the desired image quality.
