ANALISIS PENGARUH PEMANFAATAN META AI PADA APLIKASI WHATSAPP TERHADAP KEPUASAN SISWA DALAM PROSES PEMBELAJARAN DI SMA N 1 TELOK BINTAN

Abstract

Technological developments, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), have had a significant impact on various aspects, one of which is in the world of education. One innovation implemented in the learning process is the use of Meta AI through the WhatsApp application to improve the learning experience of students at SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Bintan. This study aims to analyze the effect of using Meta AI as a learning aid on student satisfaction. The method used in this study was quantitative with a simple linear regression approach, with a sample of 63 11th grade students. Data were obtained through distributing questionnaires that measured student satisfaction with the use of Meta AI. The results showed that the use of Meta AI on WhatsApp had a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction, with a significance value less than 0.05 and a calculated t value greater than the table t value. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.156 indicates that 15.6% of the variation in student satisfaction can be explained by the use of Meta AI, while other factors such as teaching quality and social interaction affect 84.4% of student satisfaction. Although Meta AI makes it easier for students to access information and complete assignments efficiently, some students still feel the need to verify the information provided by AI with other sources, such as Google. This study recommends that teachers continue to guide the use of MetaAI to maintain students' critical thinking skills and avoid technology dependency. Further research involving other variables and a larger number of respondents is expected to yield more accurate and representative results.
